In case you have been living under a rock for the last year, you already know who lady gaga is. 4 number one singles off her debut album. Constant radio play, original & strange music videos one after the other. Costumes galore that would make Cher & Liberachi jealous. Gaga is part talented artist part constructed art masterpiece. With her unique designs always ready for the flashing bulbs of the “Paparazzi”, she can that her stylist team dubbed “Hause of Gaga”. Lady gaga is one of very few artist that has their own team of stylist & designers that create a look no one can copy. Her music matches her presence in it’s other worldliness. Yet the real Gaga we are told & have been shown in glimpse , seems to be a normal down to earth person. Would we still love her if she never became this Fame Monster? Who knows. But her double disc Deluxe version of “The Fame” arrives Nov. 23rd & is set to break more records! So this month is for GAGA!
October 2009 SpotLight Artist of the Month
Don’t be fooled Gordon Ramsay is very much a major force in the entertainment industry. Yes he is a world famous Chef at the ripe age of 43 he is a dominate powerhouse in the world of food oriented reality tv as well. Is this for his culinary skills you ask? Not really. His main pull is the scorching tounge lashings he gives on his program Hells Kitchen. Contestants compete for a title of best chef & a new job in a 5 star resteraunt. They’re biggest challenge is surving during dinner service when Gordon turns up the heat by singling out the weak & pushing harder on the strong.
If this and owning resteraunts around the world wasn’t enough he also host two other programs. “Kitchen Nightmares”, where he travels the world visiting resteraunts on the verge of closure. He see’s what they are doing wrong & tries to help. Some places are so under health code you fear you may never eat out again after watching. His other show “The F word” is where the real star quality comes through. You see the softer side of Gordon as he shows you his home life, his connection with celebrity friends, & how he gives normal people a chance to prove anyone can cook. He is also really , really funny & has good comedic timing. Currently he is in season 6 of Hells Kitchen & the 3rd season of the F word. Also word is he is coming out with a Live action Cartoon about himself as well.
This man seems to be on a mission & the mission is world dominance. We would expect nothing less from an Alpha Male like Ramsay. So cheers mate you are our Artist of a month.

Madonna Luise Ciccone has been a trend setter, jet setter, diva, and Icon since the late 70′s. Yes late 70′s is when she started her under ground take over in the clubs of NewYork. Threw the 80′s she dominated as the first “Britney-esk” pop star. With hits “Like a Virgin”, Material Girl”, “Like a Prayer” and more. She Ruled the 80′s, But Madonna wasn’t done yet. In the sexual revolution of the 90′s she lead the pack with videos like “Justify my Love’”, her documentary film “Truth or Dare”. Her role as Breathless Mahony in “Dick Tracy the Movie” and her legendary Cone Bra made Iconic in the Video for “Vogue”.
As the 90′s continued after years of love from her fans and just as much heat from the media, family and religous groups about her sexuality Madonna pressed on. Looking back the things she did really paved the way for these “Gaga & Pussycats” of today. No one would let you pump your coochie on the floor and pant with out calling the Vatican back then , now its part in parcel of the pop star routine. After her “SEX BOOK” arrived with lurid pics of her and other celebrities having sex and other bdsm activities the media went into a fire storm. Her Erotica album was just as dirty and her fans ate it up but the general public was displeased. Years later Madonna emerged with a new look a new album “Bedtime stories” which was more tame and in interviews Madonna admitted she was hoping to be a mother soon. She got her wish a year later and with her daughter Lourdes. Years later another Madonna arrived this one less a gimmick more spiritual with her new album “Ray of Light” she had some demons to ex-spell and many awards to win in the process. Enter 2000 you would think with Britney Spears on top of her game madonna would have faded into the Back around. NOT! In the year 2000 she gave us the album “Music” with a single of the same title and had another smash hit on her hands. 2 Albums later she gave us a newly divorced Mother of three back on the prowl album titled “Hard Candy” that didn’t do as well as expected but with innovation in Live music being absolutely stellar Madonna hired no-one but the best crews as she prepared her world tour. Her “Sticky and sweet” tour hit the road for 2-years! In those two years she has sold almost half a 1-billion dollars worth of merchandise and tickets , breaking records and becoming the largest live act two years in a row. 51 and she is no were near done. She’s Back!! After nearly 2 decades of going from a world class diva to a world class hot mess , mostly in part thanks to her ex-husband & ex-leach Bobby Brown. Whitney is back baby. Back to let you have it! Her new album has gained so much hype & momentum that it has been rushed to an august release! Lucky us. “I Turn to you” is Whitney’s post divorce come back album & first in 8 years. She looks healthy , happy, and revitalized and we couldn’t be more proud. The Current Ringmaster for the Gay Marriage Movement “Perez Hilton”
Now most people are going to say < “wait, Perez isn’t an artist wtf is he doing here?
Those people couldn’t be more wrong. He may have gotten his claim to fame as a bitchy queen with a
blog site but we know from experience @ chasemebaby.com that, that doesn’t mean he didn’t have
other dreams. Dreams that his website Perez Hilton.com most definitely opened the door to. Since his
Blog site took off & now receives a whopping 7 million hits a day, Perez has been on MTV’s Celebrity
Rapper show. Where he displayed his no talented in rapping but his zest for life. He has met every
celebrity imaginable, including the gay bigs Like Madonna & even did the opening video for Britney
Spears “Circus tour” (as seen in the image above). He has published a book , been in countless music
videos & has even recorded some music of his own. All of which is mediocre at best sometimes sure
but the truly great thing he has done is stand up for the Rights of his community. As an open gay
latino male perez has made it very clear “he’s here he’s queer , so get the fuck used to It!” Especially
after he verbally tangoed with Miss California & all those that criticized his remarks. Still perez
continues to fight the good fight especially when it concern’s The right for gay’s to be married in
California. Although it seems that day may be very far down the road , we are certain as long as his
lap top is charged & his wit is fierce Perez won’t be going anywhere anytime soon either! Check out

Well the Queen of Queens has returned with a new show on Logo tv ! “Rupauls Drag Race” is american idol meets gay pageantry , with celebrity guest judges & catwalk show downs! This is the only singing competition where lip-syncing isn’t only acceptable it may even “Save Your Life”!! Jon is currently on tour & has 14c shows in January alone, from colorado to Florida! He is doing more in January then so called “larger acts” with albums out now as well. His new album “Evolver” its true a demonstration to how far he has come & is a fresh breeze in a stale air music industry. Below we have his blog responding to his grammy nominations, which is 3-3 . Grammys Nominations!
I’m very pleased to announce that I’ve received 3 more Grammy nominations. My album Evolver and most of the tracks were not eligible for consideration because it was released after the deadline for this year’s nominations. But “Green Light” and some of my collaborations were eligible. I received nominations for Best Song for “American Boy,” which I wrote w/ Estelle, Kanye & will.i.am; Best R & B Performance by Duo or Group for “Stay With Me” w/ Al Green; and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Green Light” w/ Andre 3000. I’m very excited. Even though I’ve won 5 grammys and been nominated a total of 14 times, it never gets old. Thanks to all my great collaborators. And, by the way, I think Estelle was robbed. She should be a Best New Artist and Record of the Year nominee. No question. But congratulations to her for her 2 nominations for “American Boy” (song of the year and best rap/sung collaboration). Anyway, the tour is getting better and better everyday. Boston was incredible on Tuesday night and I’m looking forward to playing the remaining cities on the tour. If you don’t have your tickets yet, be sure to get them. I promise you this is my best tour yet. Don’t miss it. Peace, |
DECEMBER 2008 ARTIST OF THE MONTH:
“It’s Britney Bitch!!”
Sure I know what your thinking, Britney??? Yes we are dedicated to getting new artist out there but it’s up to the artist to send in their info let us know they exist other wise like everywhere else in life if you wait your turn yu just keep waiting! Let’s be fair though in retrospect to the past , this is a whole new Britney then what we have seen over the last 4 years. In 6 months she has been re-managed , into the arch typical diva she once once. Long gone is the beer gut, ratty hair & late night runs to taco bell. In its place is abs, lustrous blond locks & late night dance rehearsals & video shoots. This december britney is aiming at not only reclaiming her throne but reclaiming her image.
I just saw a 20-minute segment during a special screening of Britney: For The Record and here are the new details you need to know:
- Britney’s manager Larry Rudolph said “We’re looking to show a way you haven’t seen this girl before.”
- It took 90 days to shoot.
- My fave Britney quote was “I dont really like it when they say ‘the comeback,’ I’ve been here the whole time.”
- When Britney is waiting to film “Womanizer,” she and Brett are wearing the exact same shirt.
- There are a lot of crazy paparazzi moments.
- Britney mentions that she has already done a photo shoot for Glamour, in which she wears a white button down shirt as well as a white, wintery wardrobe.
- Britney also mentions that she did a photo-shoot for Vanity Fair (OMG! You know their spreads are always juicy!)
With a new album, new look & new documentray it “seems” brit brit has taking a back seat for lady spears emrgance. Is this a carefully crafted trick to replenish the funds that mz.spears has so infamously lost after divorces & crazy spending sprees! Could be but anything carefully crafted is a welcomed sight in comparison to the one of her in the back of an ambulance. So here is to Ms. Spears return & definite take over this december!
